But before steaming, there are a number of steps that need to be done. First, soak the rice that will be used for 2 hours. In the video, he uses a measurement of 2 mugs (glasses) of rice. After soaking, put the rice in the rice cooker. Then pour 7 cups of water into it. If measured with your fingers, the water level is as high as your index finger. Once done, cook in the rice cooker as usual until the cook button changes to warm.

When it's cooked, immediately open the rice cooker and stir the rice. The texture of this rice tends to be soft and still watery. Well, to make it taste better, add a little salt, then stir again. In the video, Silvia Norman also adds 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil so that the rice doesn't stick.
