Brilio.net - Known for its soft meat and savory taste, milkfish is often processed into various delicious dishes. Starting from being made into presto milkfish, pepes, to satay. The deliciousness of this fish lies not only in its natural taste, but also in its ability to absorb spices well.

In addition to being delicious, milkfish is also a source of high protein and contains many important nutrients such as omega-3, which is good for heart and brain health. The healthy fat content in this fish also helps maintain cholesterol balance in the body. With its abundant nutritional content, milkfish not only pampers the tongue, but also provides significant health benefits for those who consume it regularly.

Unfortunately, there is one drawback of milkfish that is often complained about by many people, namely its thin bones. So thin, the bones of milkfish are shaped like very many fine spines. The spines cannot be removed one by one, so they must be crushed by pressure cooking.

But besides being pressure-cooked, milkfish can also be processed using other methods. The method shared by YouTube user Resep Mamareny tends to be more practical and faster than pressure-cooking. Through one of the videos uploaded, he admitted to only relying on one tool.

As reported by BrilioFood from YouTube Resep Mamareny on Thursday (15/8), the tool in question is a knife. So, this knife will be used to chop the fine fish bones. That way, the bones will immediately disintegrate when cooked or fried.

The method is also easy. First, prepare the milkfish that has been washed clean. After that, make a line of incisions along the upper back of the milkfish using a knife. Make the incisions with a short distance.

After that, do this process on the right and left sides of the milkfish. This will make the fine bones in that part also cut. That way, the milkfish is ready to be processed.

In the video, YouTube user Resep Mamareny wants to process it into fried milkfish. Therefore, she marinates the milkfish with yellow spices. To make it more practical, she uses instant powdered spices to marinate the milkfish. Coat it evenly and let it sit for a while.

Next, pour hot oil into the pan. While heating, sprinkle a little flour into the oil so that the fish does not explode when fried later. Then when the oil is hot, put in the marinated milkfish.

Well, fry the milkfish until it is completely dry and cooked. After that, remove and drain. Milkfish that has been processed in this way will be more comfortable to consume because the fine bones have been broken and melted with the fish meat.
