Brilio.net - A crusty or rusty stove body is a common problem that many people often face after years of use. This problem usually occurs because of oil residue, food splashes, and moisture that is allowed to accumulate without being cleaned regularly. Over time, the crust that sticks can turn into rust, making the stove look dull and less hygienic.
In addition to damaging the appearance, crust and rust on the stove body can also affect its performance. Rust that is allowed to spread can weaken the metal material, making the stove more susceptible to damage. Not to mention, the accumulated crust can be a place for bacteria and dirt to grow, which of course has a bad impact on kitchen cleanliness.
To prevent this, regular maintenance is the main key. However, if the stove is already rusty, you can apply a simple trick to clean it to make it shinier. A Facebook user Fitri Rahmawati once shared the trick directly through one of the uploaded videos.
There are a number of kitchen ingredients used to clean the crust on the stove. Reported by brilio.net on Sunday (12/1), the kitchen ingredients in question are baking soda, vinegar, and dish soap. These three ingredients can effectively remove stubborn stains, even those that have been there for years, such as rust on the stove.

Then for further use, you only need to sprinkle baking soda over the entire surface of the rusty stove. Then pour vinegar evenly until the two ingredients react. After that, let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

While waiting, you can prepare dish soap in a container and an old toothbrush. Then apply the soap to the stove body that has been compressed with baking soda and vinegar. If so, scrub it with an old toothbrush and wire wool. Do this process until the rust and crust are completely removed.

Immediately after brushing, rinse the stove with running water. Or you can wipe the surface of the stove using a wet cloth to remove the remaining soap and cleaner. Then wipe again with a dry cloth so that the stove is even cleaner and shiny like new.
Having been viewed more than 35 thousand times, this video about the trick to clean a rusty stove immediately attracted attention. Who would have thought, many other Facebook users then gave direct responses in the comments column. Most of them admitted that they wanted to practice the trick.
