Brilio.net - Turmeric stains are often a challenge in cleaning kitchen utensils, especially on equipment such as blenders. The strong yellow color of turmeric can easily stick and leave marks that are difficult to remove, even after repeated washing. Although turmeric is known for its benefits in cooking, its presence on kitchen utensils can actually reduce aesthetics and make furniture look dull and less hygienic.
If turmeric stains are left too long, they will become increasingly difficult to remove. Over time, the natural pigments in turmeric seep into the blender and make it look duller. Stains that have been around for years usually require extra effort and special cleaning agents to restore the furniture to its original appearance. Sometimes, using regular detergent alone is not enough to remove a stain that is already firmly embedded.
Luckily, there are some natural and effective ways to deal with stubborn turmeric stains, such as using a mixture of vinegar or lemon juice. Some have also soaked the blender in lemon water to remove the stains. These ingredients have acidic and abrasive properties that can help dissolve the turmeric pigment without damaging the kitchenware.
But besides acidic ingredients, you can use other kitchen ingredients that are no less effective in removing turmeric stains on blenders. A Facebook user, Fitri Rahmawati, once revealed it directly through one of the videos she uploaded. She admitted to only using two simple ingredients to remove turmeric stains on the blender so that it looks clear again.

As reported by brilo.net from Facebook Fitri Rahmawati on Sunday (26/1), the simple ingredients in question are baking soda and toothpaste. So, sprinkle enough baking soda into the blender. Then pour hot water until all parts affected by turmeric stains are completely submerged. Well, soak the blender first with hot water and baking soda until the water temperature starts to drop.

Once done, discard the soaking water and apply toothpaste to the stained surface of the blender. Then, scrub it using an old toothbrush all over. Make sure all the turmeric stains are also scrubbed using this brush and toothpaste.

Then if the turmeric stains have faded, rinse immediately with running water. When rinsing, don't forget to rub a little using your fingers to remove any remaining toothpaste. That way, the blender will look cleaner and clearer again.

Some of them even admitted that they had just found out about the trick and wanted to practice it right away.
