Brilio.net - Blenders are often the mainstay kitchen appliances for those who like to cook, because they can save time and energy in smoothing food ingredients such as spices, chili sauce, and fruit. However, frequent use can cause leaks in the middle of the blender.

If left unchecked, this leak can damage the blender engine, because the dripping water can interfere with the performance of the engine below. A netizen named Bagas shared his experience of dealing with a leaking blender through an upload on YouTube. According to him, the leak could be caused by the rubber retainer on the blade that was loose, so it needed to be replaced with a new one.

First, remove the bolts and the blender blade . Don't forget to protect your hands with a cloth or tissue when holding the blade to avoid injury. After the blade is removed, pull the rubber seal underneath.

"We'll open the old seal first," said YouTube account owner Bagas Permana, quoted by BrilioFood on Sunday (29/12).

After that, dry the entire blade using tissue. Then, install a new rubber seal. Bagas explained that the size of the rubber can be adjusted to each blender blade. The one he uses is 5 mm.

After the rubber seal is properly installed and completely tight, return the blender blade to its original position. Then, the blender is ready to be used again to smooth food ingredients.

"After we finished installing it, we checked it, it was no longer loose, it was strong and definitely did not leak," explained Bagas.
