In fact, the police chief invited the janitor intentionally as a role model for the others. In the eyes of the world, the profession as janitor may not be prestigious at all, but in the eyes of God, his status could be higher than me, or may be all of you, he said quoted from NTB Regional Polices Facebook.
Why did the police chief pay tribute to this man? Umar Septono, the janitor, earns only about IDR 500.000 per month and he always makes an effort to arrive at police headquarters by 04:30 in the morning. Although the police members were littering, he always kept quiet. Dont you all feel ashamed for this? Even, we have been oppressing him, the police chief added.
At the end of the speech, the police chief wished that all of the police members realize that their jobs are entrusted by God and it is a form of great worship.
