Brilio.net - Shadow illusions, or better known as optical illusions, are visual phenomena that often deceive our eyes. This makes us see things that are not actually there or see things in a different way than reality. This phenomenon exploits the way the brain processes visual information and often elicits wonder and awe.

Shadow illusions can come in various forms, such as images that appear to be moving, objects that appear larger or smaller than their actual size, and images that contain more than one interpretation.

Like the optical illusion reported by brilio.net from the account X @Rainmaker1973, Monday (20/5) below. In this illusion, you can see a car parked in parallel. In that narrow position, the appearance of the car looked as if an electric pole had hit the window. Try looking at the following picture.

If you look at it at a glance, you will be confused by the reflection effect of the glass and the roof of the car which seems to be pierced by an electricity pole. The reflection of the shadow makes this car appear to have a cracked window. The position of the pole and the reflection from the roof of the car also make the appearance of this parked car like a pillar falling from above.

Apparently, the picture seen has its own explanation. If you look closely, the electric pole is actually behind the car. So actually this pole is not stuck in the windshield of the car that is stopping. Then why are there cracks in the glass?

Well, it's not a crack but the reflection of the shadows from the cables at the top of the electricity pole, so it looks like a crack from the stuck pole. There are also those who explain in the comments column which includes a clear picture of how the pole can be reflected perfectly so that it can deceive the eye that sees the car.

The account made a detailed explanation that the car was not damaged and had cracks when parked there, as for the caption he included, "For those who didn't get it (For anyone who doesn't understand). In his explanation photo, he also wrote, "Reflection of the electric cables. Windshield is not broken, and Reflection of the pole (shadow of power cables, windshield is not broken, and shadow of pole tip).

So, if you saw a moment like this, would you be confused or would you just believe it?
