Brilio.net - An unfortunate fate befell FN, a student at SMA 1 Cawas, Klaten Regency, Central Java. FN died after his friends threw him into a pool. The student who served as student council president was thrown out because it was his birthday.
Cawas Police Chief AKP Umar Mustofa explained that the tragic incident experienced by FN occurred on Monday (8/7). At that time, FN was carrying out activities at his school to seek sponsorship. The OSIS wants to hold an achievement competition for students' talents and interests.
"Since June 24, the OSIS has planned to look for sponsorship, for competition activities to develop students' achievements and talents, which will be held on July 25," said Umar, quoted from merdeka.com on Tuesday (9/7).
However, while doing activities, a friend remembered that it was FN's birthday. Because of this, they immediately pushed FN into the pool at school. Previously, FN's body had turned white because his friends covered him in flour.
"Around four people were celebrating after lunch and prayers. We (FN friends) splashed in the pool. Before they splashed in the pool, they were given flour and then lifted," he said.

However, while still in the pool, FN admitted that his legs cramped and it was difficult for him to move. Three friends who were at the location immediately moved quickly to help. However, it turned out that it was not cramps, but rather an electric shock, aka electrocution.
"Then at the pool (FN) was about to try to get up (up) then stepped on the electric shock, he said (FN felt) cramped, even though he was electrocuted. When he realized he was electrocuted, his friend went down (into the pool) his friend helped at first one, then two or three people jumped in. (pool). One was also continuously electrocuted but could move," explained Umar.
FN's friend who managed to get out of the pool then ran to turn off the pool's electric switch. But unfortunately, FN's life could not be saved.
Regarding this incident, Umar said that the family was not willing to make a police report. They consider that this is a disaster that is befalling FN and his family.
"We also couldn't continue because the victim's family accepted it, the village head was also here, the family here made a statement, basically they didn't want to continue the process and considered it a disaster," explained Umar.
The school and the local Education Department also expressed their deep condolences regarding this incident. They posted FN photos on the official Instagram @prabawiyatatama. SMAN 1 Cawas conveyed prayers so that FN would be in the best place by His side.
"May his deeds of worship be accepted by Allah SWT, all his sins will be forgiven and the families left behind will be given fortitude," wrote on the SMAN 1 Cawas Instagram account.
