Brilio.net/en - WauchulaGhost is a member of Anonymous, the notorious online hacker group. He claims to have taken over already more than 200 twitter accounts belonging to ISISs sympathisers and doesnt plan on stopping yet. He is even getting support to continue the propagation campaign with two other hackers, E.bony and Yeti.
ISIS has used social media platforms like Twitter as a tool for recruitment and to spread propaganda. The terrorist organisation is against homosexuality and against porn, this is thus the angle of attack that WauchulaGhost chose to send his message: Make love, not war, I am gay and proud of it. He accompanied the words with pictures of same sex couples, LGBT flag and sometimes even risque porn images.
When interrogated about the motivations behind his action he explained: I did it for the lives lost in Orlando. [] Daesh (ISIS) have been spreading and praising the attack, so I thought I would defend those that were lost. The taking of innocent lives will not be tolerated.

He also stated in an interview that according to him, all the information nowadays goes through social media and that the answer of the Government and officials after the attack was not enough. Something bigger had to be done and in general, there should be better regulation of available information. Its a bit ironic coming from a person whos hijacking himself, but his point is, since everyone can access anything, it is not ok for children to be able to see shocking things such beheading scenes for example just by surfing the web.

The question now is how can an organisation such as ISIS still use tools like Twitter? The social media company says it closed more than 125.000 extremists accounts but we know that most of the people recruited for the jihad were first contacted online. Maybe WauchulaGhost can come to the rescue of govs fighting against ISIS
