The Kirobo Mini was unveiled this past October by Japanese car-maker Toyota.

Brilio.net/en - The apple-sized robot is meant to fit in your car's cup holder and will provide you with ample conversational topics, tips, and also emotional support when you're feeling blue.
Kirobo Mini's name literally means "hope robot" and Toyota suggest that the robot will be able to listen and assimilate hours of data by listening to your voice.
"Kirobo Mini could help driving become a physically and emotionally transformative experience," Toyota representatives said.
