Brilio.net - Blenders have become an essential kitchen tool because they facilitate various cooking processes from grinding spices, making smoothies, to grinding meat. With a blender, kitchen work that usually takes time and energy can be completed quickly and efficiently. Therefore, this electronic appliance must be in the kitchen.
However, despite being very helpful, using a blender often leaves its own problems. Leftover food after use can make the blender smelly and dirty.
Meat grinders , for example, can leave a fishy odor that is difficult to remove if not cleaned properly immediately. Additionally, strong-colored ingredients such as turmeric can leave stubborn yellow stains on the blender container, ruining its appearance and cleanliness.
Dealing with odor and stain problems on blenders requires special care. Cleaning the blender immediately after use is an important first step to prevent odor and stain buildup. However, some people choose to soak it in hot water to remove odors and stubborn stains.
In fact, there is a more effective way to remove the fishy smell and turmeric stains in a blender than just soaking it in hot water. This method was once practiced directly by Instagram user @dibasenja through one of the videos uploaded. He admitted to only using natural ingredients in the kitchen to clean the blender.

As reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @dibasenja on Wednesday (11/27), the kitchen ingredients in question are coffee, baking soda, and lemon. Well, these three ingredients have different functions, so they will be used separately. However, all three can still make the blender shiny again and easier to wash.

Well, you need to know that coffee will be used to help remove the fishy smell from the used meat blender. How to use it, put 4 tsp of coffee powder and pour a little warm water into the blender. If so, close the blender and turn on the machine for a while so that the coffee mixture spreads throughout the parts.
Next, the blender that has been used can be washed as usual using soap. The strong aroma of coffee will help neutralize the fishy smell of meat. Therefore, when washed, the blender becomes clean and smells maximally.

Meanwhile, to remove turmeric stains, you only need to use baking soda and lemon. The method is to add 4 tablespoons of baking soda and lemon juice. If so, pour a little water (room temperature) and turn on the blender for a few minutes.
