Brilio.net - A damp bathroom is often a favorite place for moss to grow. In addition to disturbing the aesthetics, moss that sticks to the floor can also make the surface slippery and dangerous. If left too long, moss can build up until it forms a crust and is difficult to clean.
The bathroom conditions that are always wet and have minimal air circulation are the main causes of moss. This green layer not only makes the floor look dirty, but also has the potential to be a place for bacteria and fungi to grow. Therefore, it is important to clean it regularly so that the bathroom remains hygienic and comfortable to use.
To solve this problem, there is a simple trick that can be tried using two easy-to-find kitchen ingredients, namely bathroom carbolic acid and citrun. Both of these ingredients have effective cleaning properties to remove moss that sticks to the bathroom floor without having to rinse it with hot water.

Citrun or citric acid is a natural cleaner that can dissolve scale and kill microorganisms that stick to the surface. Meanwhile, bathroom carbolic acid contains active substances that can eliminate unpleasant odors while eradicating bacteria and fungi that cause moss. The combination of these two ingredients has been proven effective in cleaning stubborn stains and making the floor more dry and free of moss.

How to use it is also very easy and practical. Prepare a small bucket as a container for mixing cleaning materials. Pour one and a half packets of citrun into the container, then add enough floor cleaner. Stir until the citrun is completely dissolved in the liquid for maximum results.
Once the solution is ready, apply it evenly to the mossy bathroom floor surface using a paint brush or sponge. Let it sit for about 30 minutes so that the contents of the solution work to lift the moss and dirt that sticks to the floor surface.

After letting it sit, scrub the floor using a cleaning brush or toilet brush. Do the scrubbing motion with enough pressure so that the moss is completely lifted and leaves no crust behind. If necessary, repeat this process until the floor is completely clean.

Once the moss is removed, rinse the floor with clean water to remove any remaining cleaning solution. Make sure the floor is completely dry so it is not slippery when used again.
Cleaning the bathroom regularly is the best preventive measure to prevent moss from coming back. Make sure the bathroom has sufficient ventilation so that air can circulate well and humidity can be reduced. With proper care, the bathroom will always be clean, fresh, and free from annoying moss.
