Brilio.net/en - Have you ever let your mind wander to imagine what the city of Tokyo would look like in a fairytale? These sets of photographs arent imaginary, and theyre real photographs from the Springtime in Japan!
Danilo Dungo used drones to take these stunning pictures of Japanese cherry blossoms, or sakura, as locals call them. Every Spring, Dungo visits the Inokashira Park in western Tokyo, Japan, to admire the beautiful landscape under pink-purplish flower petal rain, and took some amazing photos. While regular photo-shoots captured the parks beauty, the drones reveal a magic that is usually reserved for the landscapes of fairytales.
The blossoms turned the lake into a surreal pink, as in a view no one could have and the drone angle captures a view few have witnessed before. These are Dungos set of photographs, as featured in National Geographic:
1. Its hard to believe this riverscape is actually real.
2. Lovers paddling through the river of pink petals.
3. People are mesmerized by the beauty of sakura.
4. Looks like a surrealist painting rather than a photograph.
5. Like a whimsical movie setting.
6. Tiny dock and colourful boats on a pink-purplish river.
7. A wider perspective reveals more beauty.
8. Catching a duck.
9. Like something that popped out of the dream.
10. But after all, people were busy taking pictures instead of admiring the beautiful nature.
