Brilio.net/en - All modern ladies would agree that BFFs are the new soul mates. They cater to the needs of emotional supports, accompaniment and intimacy without the complexities of modern dating.

Unfortunately, forging a lasting friendship for the empowered ladies nowadays is a bit tricky. Many of these working and successful ladies are often spent most of their times in the office; trying to pursue the successful careers that they rightfully deserve.

And here is technology come to the rescue! Developed by two smart ladies, Hey! VINA is an App designed to help the adult women find their next best BFFs. The founders, Olivia June Poole and Jen Aprahamian, found the idea of creating this strong female support system while working in the male-dominated field of technology in Silicon Valley. The pair became fast friends the day they began working together at computer programming school General Assembly. And when Poole had the idea for the app, she convinced Aprahamian to move up to San Francisco and develop it with her.

Employing the familiar user interface of Tinder the ever popular dating App Hey! VINA aims to solve the challenge of making new friends as adult women with a Tinder-style UX and a proprietary matching algorithm to suggest potential new friends based on mutual friends, proximity, and quiz data.

For a start, users will need to take an introductory quiz with quick and simple yes-or-no questions to determine their lifestyle and interests. Once they've done the quiz, it's time to start swiping.

When two users match, a cheerful Ditto! will appear, along with a message suggesting that the two users meet in person. And depending on both parties lifestyle preferences, the app will be making suggestions for activities to do. For example, users who like outdoor activities will be given a hiking trail nearby, while movie goers will be suggested a list of movie to watch together. This is to eliminate the mess of having to go back-and-forth in determining simple questions of where to meet?, what to do? of common first dates.

Poole and Aprahamian hope to foster community over competition among women, Female friendships areabsolutely essential, Poole said. We hope women everywhere will use the app to find the freedom and confidence that comes from having a strong community of friends supporting you.

The iOs version of the app has been launched on January, 26th in San Fransisco and will be roll out in New York City in the upcoming weeks.
