The sturdy material also makes the basin durable, even though it is often used for everyday purposes.
However, even though it looks strong, plastic basins are actually vulnerable to damage. One of the main drawbacks is that they are easily broken or cracked if dropped from a certain height. The brittle texture of plastic, especially after frequent exposure to hot water or cleaning chemicals, can cause the basin to crack easily, which of course reduces its durability and function.
If it is cracked and broken, the basin becomes difficult to use. Not without reason, the cracks that arise can cause the water stored in the basin to seep and leak. Therefore, many people think that this broken basin is not suitable for use and is simply thrown away. In fact, instead of throwing it away, you can fix this broken basin in an easy way.
An Instagram user @siti_setyowati_ once shared a trick to patch a broken basin so that it doesn't leak anymore. Through one of the videos she uploaded, she admitted to only using one drink ingredient, namely ground coffee. Well, this ground coffee will make the cracks in the basin come back together.
Next, add glue until the coffee powder becomes wet and solid. For maximum results, let it sit for a few minutes so that the glue can soak into the coffee. This process will help close the cracked or broken surface of the basin.
