A happy event graced the family of East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa on Friday (20/9). Her third son, Yusuf Mannagalli Parawansa, officially married his lover, Jihan Qonitatullah, in a marriage contract held at the meeting hall of the Al-Akbar National Mosque, Surabaya.
This sacred moment became the public spotlight, not only because of Khofifah's status as a public figure, but also because of the presence of a number of high-ranking state officials. President Joko Widodo was one of them, present as a witness to the wedding from the groom's side, giving a special meaning to this event.
In addition, the Minister of Defense and President-elect, Prabowo Subianto, was also invited to the wedding. A number of state officials such as the Chief of Police were also present at the wedding.
