Happiness is surrounding the phenomenal couple Tariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Massaid. In a few steps, the lovebirds will let go of their bachelorhood and officially become husband and wife. However, before that, the two of them held several event processions, namely recitations and showers before the wedding.
Tariq Halilintar and Aaliyah Massaid's recitation and shower event was held at a hotel in Jakarta, on Saturday (20/7). The happy event of the two couples was also broadcast live on Tariq Halilintar's YouTube channel, which lasted from 10.00 WIB in the morning until 13.00 WIB for the recital.
At 14.00 WIB, Aaliyah carried out a siraman procession which was quite luxurious. In fact, one of the 7 water sources used for sprinkling uses Zamzam water from Mecca.
These 7 sources of water have the meaning that the bride and groom will receive blessings, or help in their domestic life from Allah SWT. Apart from that, the water from 7 sources for this sprinkling is taken by the bride and groom's family in order to cleanse themselves, both physically and mentally.
The sources of water taken include Zamzam water from Mecca, from Aaliyah's mother's house, from her grandmother, water from the mosque, from Aaliyah's paternal grandmother, and several other relatives. These seven sources are put in one container and filled with kembang setaman (7 kinds of flowers).
At the splash event, Aaliyah's appearance was no less charming. Her appearance stole attention, especially in her pink kebaya with her hair tied in a bun.
