The results of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections quick count are starting to show a picture of the results for regional head candidates, including celebrities. On Wednesday (11/27), a number of big names in the entertainment world who are trying their luck in politics were seen entering the fierce competition.
Unfortunately, some celebrities who were previously confident in running for the Pilkada had to accept the bitter reality. Not all of these artists were able to gain the majority of votes and had to be satisfied with positions below their competitors.
One of them is Krisdayanti who is running for mayor of Batu. The quick count results for the 2024 Batu mayoral election show that KD and her running mate, Kresna Dewanata Prosakh (KriDa), are in the lowest position.
Apart from Krisdayanti, this list of celebrities who lost in the quick count is proof that public support is not only about fame, but also strategy and public trust in their vision.

Singer Vicky Shu who ran as a candidate for Deputy Regent of Cilacap with Awaluddin Muuri only obtained 19.73 percent of the vote. The pair lost far behind Syamsul-Ammy who led with 67.41 percent of the vote. Several polling stations also showed Vicky's consistent vote acquisition in the lower position.
