Brilio.net/en - Voting for the Jakarta runoff election is over with polling stations closed simultaneouly at 1 p.m. Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno are leading by a significant margin according to quick counts conducted by a number of survey agencies registered with the General Elections Commission (KPU).
A quick count conducted by Kompas Research and Development based on 90 percent of total votes indicated a big win for Anies-Sandi. The pair collected 57.90 percent with Basuki Tjahaja Purnama-Djarot Syaiful Hidayat (Ahok-Djarot) stood at 42.10 percent as of 4 p.m.
From 54.67 percent collected of the total votes from polling stations throughout the capital, Indobarometer's quick count results showed Anies-Sandi's lead with 58.55 percent while the incumbent gained 41.45 percent of the votes.
Voxpol Center Reseach & Consulting put Anies-Sandi on the top with 58.50 percent while Ahok-Djarot got 41.50 percent. Voxpol says it gathered 51.61 percent of total votes from polling stations across Jakarta.
Charta Politica had Anies-Sandi with 57.64 percent of the vote while Ahok-Djarot trailing behind with 42.36 percent based on 53.00 percent of total votes.
