Brilio.net/en - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Investigator Novel Baswedan was rushed into Mitra Keluarga Kelapa Gading hospital after an acid attack this morning.
Novel reportedly suffers burns to his face after an unidentified person threw acid at him when the investigator joined a morning prayer in a mosque near his home in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
"The information came from his family. He was in intensive care in hospital," said KPK Spokesman Febri Diansyah confirming the incident.
"KPK team are heading to the location," closed Febri.
Novel Baswedan is a senior KPK investigator who has been dealing with several high-profile cases including, Hambalang and driving simulator procurement project and the latest e-KTP graft.
