Some security camera footages were secured as evidence.

Brilio.net/en - Police continue to investigate the attack against the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) senior investigator Novel Baswedan. Currently, 19 people has been testified as witnesses.

Jakarta Police Spokesperson Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono mentioned there are some additional witnesses who are people around the crime scene when the incident occurred. On Saturday, police had earlier announced to question 16 people as witnesses.

"There are 19 people [who had been testified] currently. [They are] locals, people who checked around the mosque, houses, [and] areas around the alley entrance near the victim's house," said Argo when contacted by detikcom, Sunday.

Besides the additional witnesses, Argo added that the police had also analyzed the CCTV footage brought by the North Jakarta Police.

"CCTV [footages] were taken to KPK before. Two days later [it] was handed to the police for analysis. Now the footage is being analyzed," he said.

It remains unconfirmed how many footages from surveillance camera which are secured as evidence. Yet, Argo confirmed that the analysis will be conducted by comparing the witness testimony with the CCTV footage.

Reported earlier, Novel Baswedan was attacked by unidentified person using liquid which later identified as sulfuric acid. Novel suffers burn to his face and was flown to Singapore for medical treatment for injury to his eyes.
