When will people realize that drinking bootleg alcohol is never a good idea?

Four people in Kendal, Central Java passed away and four others are hospitalized after drinking bootleg alcohol on a party last weekend.
The four dead victims are Andi Bagus Prasetyo (37), Oky Pratama (25), Pangkat Tamtomo Supriyanto (50) and Sandi Permadi (23).
The alcohol party started on Saturday night to Sunday evening in Pangkat Tamtomo's house.
I dont know what the liquors they mixed were but clearly there was taste of energy drink. Until now, I still feel tight on my chest and engrossed eyes, one of the alive victims, Edward Jose Rizal told Kompas.
Edward added that he needed to pay for Rp 50,000 to join the deadly party after being invited by Andy Bagus.
Police is still working on to find out the cause of their death. Unfortunately, there is reportedly no alcohol left since the victims had finished them and their family also refuses to give their bodies for an autopsy.
