Through one of the uploaded videos, he admitted that he only used 1 simple ingredient to make the rust on the scissors fade.

Toothpaste can remove rust from scissors because it contains effective abrasive and cleaning ingredients, such as calcium carbonate and dehydrated silica. Not only that, toothpaste also contains detergents and surfactants which help dissolve and remove dirt and residue from metal surfaces.
Well, how to use it is quite easy. First, apply toothpaste evenly to all parts of the scissors. After that, let it sit for 30-60 minutes so that the toothpaste is completely absorbed into the rust.

If you have let it sit, then gently scrub the scissors using an old toothbrush. After that, rinse with water until there is no remaining toothpaste attached. Finally, dry the scissors before you are ready to use them again so they don't get rusty again.
