A regulator that is not properly installed can cause gas leaks.

Brilio.net - Gas cylinders are the main source of fuel for stoves at home, because of their practicality and efficiency. However, problems can arise, such as obstructed gas flow due to loose regulators. Regulators that are not properly installed can cause gas leaks, which are dangerous because LPG gas is flammable and can cause explosions or fires.

To overcome this problem, it is important to routinely check the regulator installation and ensure the rubber seal is in good condition. If the gas still does not flow, there is a simple trick that can be tried, as shared by TikTok user @trileztarii, quoted by BrilioFood on Monday (9/12). In his video, he shows how to use dry tissue as a solution.

The method is, take a little dry tissue, tear it, and squeeze it until it forms a small ball. This ball of tissue is then inserted into the regulator hole that will be connected to the gas cylinder. After that, attach the regulator to the gas cylinder as usual. If successful, the speedometer on the regulator will move, indicating that the gas is flowing.

This trick is effective if the regulator is still functioning normally, but is loose because the valve in the middle of the hole is too short. The wad of tissue helps connect the two parts, so that gas can flow smoothly into the regulator. The change in numbers on the regulator speedometer indicates that this trick is successful.
