Brilio.net - It is important to maintain the cleanliness of kitchen towels because if they are dirty and dirty, they will definitely not absorb stains optimally. In addition, dirty kitchen towels can be a source of bacteria and cause cross-contamination (contamination that occurs indirectly as a result of ignorance in food processing) which has the potential to endanger health.
To prevent this, kitchen towels must be cleaned regularly, especially if the intensity of use is quite high. Washing kitchen towels can basically be done like washing regular clothes. You can use detergent and scrub it with a brush.
Unfortunately, in some cases, kitchen towels that are full of stubborn stains and grease cannot be washed using normal methods. Oil stains tend to stick and make kitchen towels slippery because there is residue left. This makes the kitchen cloth smell musty and less comfortable to use.
So to overcome this problem, some people usually use special ingredients, such as citrus. So, dirty and oily kitchen towels will usually be boiled with a mixture of citrus so that all the stains come off as much as possible. Basically, citrus is an ingredient that is often relied upon to remove various kinds of stains, including oil stains on kitchen cloths.
But instead of using citrus which is hard to find, you can use other practical ingredients, you know. This material was used by the owner of the Instagram account @dapuremamarini. Through one of the uploaded videos, he admitted that he used liquid detergent when washing dirty and oily kitchen towels. However, so that the stubborn stains can be removed more optimally, there is one kitchen ingredient that is added to wash this rag.
How to wash rags.
Reported by BrilioFood from Instagram @dapuremamarini, Wednesday (29/5), the kitchen ingredient used is table vinegar. Basically, vinegar is a natural ingredient which is very effective in cleaning dirty and oily kitchen cloths. With its strong acidic properties, vinegar is able to break down oil and dirt stuck to fabric, making it easier to remove when washing.
Well, how to use this vinegar is quite easy. First of all, prepare a basin and fill it with enough hot water. The amount of hot water can be adjusted according to the number of stubborn stains on the cloth.

Next, pour in liquid detergent and vinegar. After that, stir all the ingredients until evenly mixed. Only then add a dirty and oily kitchen cloth. Press until all parts of the cloth are completely submerged. If so, let it sit for 30 minutes.

After soaking for 30 minutes, the water temperature will usually be colder and the dirt on the kitchen towel will fall off into the water. If it's like that, lift the kitchen towel. Then brush or check for a while until it's really clean. Then rinse and wring until there is no soap residue stuck to the kitchen cloth.

So, this washed kitchen cloth can be dried straight away. It's best to dry it in the sun so it dries quickly and doesn't get damp. That way, the dry kitchen cloth will look shinier and be ready to be used again to clean various kitchen surfaces. How? Quite easy and effective, right?
