Brilio.net - Idgitaf's musical works are now increasingly being enjoyed by many people. The owner's full name, Brigitta Sriulina Beru Meliala, wants her songs to be enjoyed by various groups without limits. This made Idgitaf sound loud in voicing the message he wanted to convey, through an inclusive music performance, "Airing with Deaf Friends". This show was held at Sunyi Coffee, South Jakarta, on Sunday, May 5 2024.
Idgitaf performed the full album "Memair", he appeared to sing and communicate with the audience using sign language. "Memair" is Idgitaf's first album which contains a total of 9 songs released on July 28 2023. A full album which he released under the auspices of the record label he founded himself, Idgitaf Musik.
As a young musician who often speaks about the journey towards adulthood, Gita (Idgitaf's nickname) is increasingly consistent in creating works with lyrics that are expected to represent the anxieties of his generation and be close to the experiences of his listeners.

After achieving success on the "Memair" tour in 3 cities, Gita's enthusiasm was poured into a mission that could broaden her sense of satisfaction so that the album "Memair" could provide more meaning to many listeners whatever the conditions. Her personal experience of hearing limitations made Gita choose to start this mission with the Deaf Friends community.
I was born with an imperfect right earlobe. Since I found out that this disorder is called Microtia, I was moved to provide comfort to people who have more severe cases than me, namely the Deaf community. "I did this in conjunction with my intention to create a social project through singing this year." said Gita, quoted by brilio.net from a press release, Wednesday (8/5).
In an effort to provide the best in this show, Gita collaborated with Sunyi Coffee, a cafe that involved Deaf Friends as coffee makers (baristas) and cooks. Not only providing work space, Sunyi Coffee also built the Sunyi Academy community which facilitates various training for disabled friends or various friends who want to learn sign language.
In the show "Airing with Deaf Friends", Gita presented an inclusive performance by giving her best effort singing and communicating using sign language which she learned with the Sunyi Academy community. The performance was warm for both Deaf and Hearing Friends (a term for non-disabled friends) who attended that night.

This show was successful in bringing together 100 Deaf Friends for free and also included other Deaf Friends as part of the show and event committee. That night, not only Idgitaf performed entertainingly, there were Deaf and Hearing Friends who were familiar with the community also appeared to show their skills. Among them were Adelia from Pop Joy Sign who read poetry, a theater performance by Theater 7, a dance performance from Dhea Seto and a vernacular visual performance by Pop Joy Sign.
Gita's efforts to learn sign language for dozens of days before the day of the performance succeeded in making her performance feel warm for those who came that night. Idgitaf features a total of 6 songs, complete with sign language.
"Hopefully, this will be a good step for the continuation of the promotion of my album, namely "Berair", and hopefully it can be the start of a concert by Indonesian musicians specifically for Deaf Friends." Gita closed hopefully.
