Brilio.net - Recently, Anang Hermansyah has returned to the public spotlight. The reason is that the podcast between Anang and Indonesian Idol finalist, Ghea Indrawari, has received criticism. On the podcast, Anang asked a question about Ghea's age, who is 26 years old.
What caused a stir was when Anang asked a question about Ghea's plans to get married.
"How old are you? And does that mean you're not married?" asked Anang Hermansyah.
Many people think that Anang's question is considered inappropriate. The reason is, it is a personal problem that should not need to be discussed. Suddenly, Anang Hermansyah became the target of netizens.
In the midst of his name continuing to be discussed, the family did not remain silent. It was recently discovered that his wife, Ashanty, responded to this matter. But unfortunately, Ashanty's presence in public to provide clarification surprised netizens. They asked where Anang was, he should be the one talking about this, not his wife or family.
"Anang should be the one apologizing," wrote netizen @y.li92
"How come Asyanti is the one apologizing, where is Anang," @Nur Ulvha Sovieya
"Where is your husband, sis... he's a little GENTLE... this is his wife," added netizen @Bella
"How come you are the wife who clarifies it to the media...," said @dess
In an upload reported by brilio.net from TikTok @nyanya.nyunyu on Monday (29/4), Ashanty provided an explanation regarding the virality of Anang Hermansyah and Ghea Indrawari's podcast.
Ashanty explained that her husband's question, Anang, could not be justified. Ashanty even reminded Anang not to ask questions about personal things like that.
"There's no justification for him talking like that," said Ashanty as reported by brilio.net from the TikTok account @nyanya.nyunyu, Monday (29/4)
"Yesterday I said to Mr Anang, 'What are you doing creating a cool atmosphere'. I also scolded my team so that they would give Mas Anang a podcast just talking about music or politics like that," continued Ashanty again.
Apart from that, Ashanty also explained that this question is commonplace for people from the baby boomer generation and generation
"I and you (Anang) are asked like that, it's normal. But at this age when children are asked like that, it's definitely uncomfortable. But he (Anang) has never been like that to people he's not close to," explained Ashanty.
Apart from that, Ashanty also explained that Aurel Hermansyah had apologized to Ghea. Meanwhile, Ghea herself actually did not mind the question asked by Anang Hermansyah.
"Until Aurel texted Ghea, 'Sis, I'm sorry'. 'Oh my God, Sis, I'm really okay' (Ghea answered)," explained Ashanty.

"We had a really fun conversation, so it seemed like we were really close. But yes, there are people who do things that go viral," Ashanty emphasized.
Even though Ashanty has explained at length regarding this viral matter. Not a few netizens were surprised why Ashanty had to provide clarification.
Apart from that, there are also those who think that Ashanty is wiser in responding to this viral thing.
"Well, mothers are wiser in responding to this," wrote @Julia Wiguna
"Mother Ashanti was able to respond wisely," @ayuratnaari
"I'm quite relieved about this clarification. At least there was Ashanty who told Anang and Aurel," said one netizen.
Then, before Ashanty provided clarification. It seems that Aurel Hermansyah has also defended his father, Anang Hermansyah.
Through a post by one netizen, Aurel also commented on the post and apologized if anyone was hurt by the podcast. Not only that, Aurel also asked netizens not to comment on negative things.
"If you don't like it, just don't watch it, no need to get tired of negative comments. Take the good and throw away the bad," wrote @aurel hermansyah, reported by brilio.net from the TikTok account @pinkytons, Monday (29/4)
Aurel further explained that his father said this so that he would not be like Anang who married at a fairly old age. Apart from that, Aurel also defended that Anang really has an outspoken character, especially towards Idol children, like a parent to his child.
"Maybe my father said that, so that he wouldn't be like him. He got married late in life and as far as I know, the son of an idol knows that my father is really outspoken when he speaks. Like a father," continued Aurel's comment.
"If you really feel hurt, please forgive me, you are also gentlemen," said Aurel in conclusion.
Even so, Aurel Hermansyah's response was considered unwise and many criticized this comment. Until the clarification given by Ashanty came out, netizens felt more relieved about the controversy over Anang's question to Ghea Indrawari.
