Anita Jacoba Gah assessed that Nadiem did not listen to input from the DPR RI. He asked the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology to conduct an introspection and proposed that the leadership of Commission
"We all know there is a budget shortfall of IDR 15 trillion, but in my opinion, let's correct ourselves. Why is this happening, be honest with ourselves. That's a lot of budget that has been given so much for 2024, has it been used well or not?" explained Anita, as reported by YouTube TVR PARLIAMENT, Friday (7/6).

Anita added that there are many problems with budget realization and the uneven absorption of the APBN budget to regions. Many school constructions have been abandoned even though the budget has been in place since 2021.
"I will give you an example, in Kupang Regency there are 17 school buildings which from 2021 until now have not been completed," he added.
Suddenly, Anita's angry reaction in front of Nadiem Makarim received admiration from the public. Not a few have explored her background, including the wealth of the woman born March 9 1974.
Quoting the announcement of the KPK's state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN), in the April 30 2020 submission for the 2019 report, Anita Jacoba Gah recorded total assets worth IDR 358 million. These details include transportation equipment and machinery, namely a 2018 Innova Venturer 2 Micro car worth IDR 345 million and a 2017 Yamaha 2 PV motorbike worth IDR 13 million.
However, the report did not record land and buildings, other movable assets, securities, cash and cash equivalents, or debts. Apart from that, when we searched for the following year, we couldn't find the LHKPN.

Meanwhile, regarding his activities in the world of politics, he has served four times in the DPR RI. He began his political career as a member of the DPR RI for the 2004-2009 period, representing the electoral district of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) II. In the 2009 Legislative Member Election (Pileg), Anita again ran to represent NTT II and was elected as a member of the DPR RI for the 2009-2014 period.
Her steps in the world of politics were stopped when she failed to advance in the 2014 Legislative Election. However, Anita Jacoba Gah made her way to Senayan by becoming a member of PAW (Interim Replacement) replacing Jefirstson Richset Riwu Kore who was running as a candidate for mayor of Kupang.
In the 2024 Legislative Election, Anita is running again as a member of the DPR RI through the NTT II electoral district, covering the districts of Kupang, East Sumba, West Sumba, Central Sumba, Southwest Sumba, Sabu Raijua, South Central Timor, North Central Timor, Belu, Malacca , Rote, Ndao and Kupang City.
