Brilio.net - Risty Tagor has finally returned to the film world after a 15-year absence. Her return was marked by her involvement in a comedy drama film titled Home Sweet Loan which was adapted from a bestselling novel. Risty admitted that she could not believe she could return to the big screen after a long hiatus from the film world. She even had to undergo a screen test first to get a role in the film.

Although she had not acted on the big screen for a long time, Risty still followed the audition process with enthusiasm. In the process, she had to face big challenges, one of which was her health condition which was not fit. However, she remained determined to come and complete the audition process for her chance to return to work in the film world.

The journey back to the world of film for Risty was not easy. She felt like starting everything from scratch again. Her acting experience in soap operas did help, but there is a fundamental difference between acting in soap operas and films. Risty also said that with her new role, she is grateful to be able to act in a wider genre, not limited to religious films.

Risty Tagor has now proven that the hijab she wears is not a barrier to being involved in films with more general themes. She feels very lucky to be able to return to the film industry and hopes to continue working in the future.

As a mother of two, Risty Tagor never expected that she would get another chance to act on the big screen. For her, this comeback process is a big step in her career journey that she has long left behind. Even when asked to take a screen test, Risty was hesitant because she was not in good condition.

"I got the chance again after fifteen years. When I was asked to do a screen test, it wasn't certain that I would be accepted, but I still came even though I was sick. The management even drove everyone because they knew I was sick," said Risty when met in the Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, quoted by brilio.net from KapanLagi, Thursday (5/9).

Returning to acting in a film after a long hiatus not only gave Risty a new challenge, but also made her feel the difficulty of starting over again. The world of film and soap operas has very significant differences, starting from the treatment to the responsibilities carried out as an actor. This made Risty feel that she had to learn a lot more to be able to appear optimally on the big screen.

Despite having extensive experience in the soap opera world, Risty feels that every film production presents a different challenge. She has to adjust to a new environment and work rhythm, but this actually gives her the spirit to continue learning and developing in the world of acting.

"For me, stopping for fifteen years is like starting from the beginning. Acting in a film is different from a soap opera, even though both are responsible, the treatment is different," said Risty Tagor.

In addition, Risty is also grateful that the hijab she wears does not limit her in the film world. After wearing the hijab for 15 years, she once thought that the roles offered to her would only be limited to the religious film genre. However, the opportunity to play in the film Home Sweet Loan proved that the hijab is not a barrier for actors to work in various film genres.

Now, Risty feels more confident to return to acting on the big screen, especially with the opportunity to be involved in films that do not specialize in one genre. She hopes that in the future there will be more projects that she can work on without feeling limited by the choice of roles.

"I thought that after wearing the hijab for fifteen years, I wouldn't act in ordinary films, definitely religious ones. But it turned out not to be the case. If asked if I want to act in films again, God willing, I'm back now and want to work again," concluded Risty.
