Brilio.net - Singer Reza Artamevia has stumbled upon a serious legal problem related to alleged fraud and embezzlement of diamonds with a total loss of Rp18.5 billion. This case began when someone with the initials IM reported Reza to Polda Metro Jaya on Friday (11/15).
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Senior Commissioner Ade Ary Syam Indradi confirmed the report and said IM felt cheated after checking the nine collateral diamonds which turned out to be fake. The victim had previously handed over money in stages up to Rp18.5 billion for a diamond business investment offered by Reza and his partner with the initials RD.
Responding to the accusation, Reza Artamevia clarified that he actually owned the diamond worth Rp150 billion which is now in IM's hands. Reza admitted that he had handed over the diamond to IM after being examined together, but IM had only paid Rp500 million.
Reza felt the need to correct the news that was developing because according to him it did not correspond to the actual facts. Thariq Halilintar's father-in-law emphasized that there was a valid sales agreement between him and IM.

"I want to straighten out the news that is developing, that the evidence that I have diamonds worth Rp150 billion is with them. Then it has been handed over and checked together, then they just handed over half a billion (Rp500 million). There is already a sales and purchase agreement," said Reza, quoted by brilio.net from STARPRO Indonesia on Saturday (16/11).
The 49-year-old singer revealed the chronology of payments made by IM to him. Reza stated that he was still waiting for the remaining payments that had not been fulfilled according to the initial agreement.
"Then they gave us Rp18.5 billion. Then we kept waiting for the rest from August until now, it has not been fulfilled, according to the amount we agreed on, yes," explained Reza.
The ex-wife of the late Adjie Massaid actually did not want this problem to become public consumption and hoped it could be resolved amicably. However, the development of the news forced her to take legal action.

Aaliyah Massaid's mother finally decided to take legal action after waiting for payment several times. This step was taken after various attempts to resolve the matter amicably failed.
Apparently, Reza had reported this problem to the authorities on November 6, 2024. On Friday (11/15), Reza accompanied by a lawyer had undergone an examination.
"But since they gave me such news, of course I feel it's better to just hand it over to the authorities. I have filed this report since November 6," he explained.
