"Many people ask why they went to Tangsel, why not the Mayor of North Jakarta. Basically, the Mayor of North Jakarta in DKI Jakarta is appointed by the Governor. I'm really encouraged because Tangsel can be said to be very homeless, like me and my older brother (Riza Patria), like "Bintaro and Ciputat. I will definitely fight for their aspirations so that their voices can be heard in my leadership," said Marshel Widianto, reported by brilio.net from merdeka6.com, Tuesday (9/7).
He also admitted that he was the only candidate entering the Pilkada contest with a poor economic condition and past. However, he claims that he has loyalty, honesty and is ready to serve the community if he is later elected as Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang.
"I have loyalty and honesty, and from all of that I never take other people's rights. So what I said was, I would never take a penny from the APBD, that's what I guard," continued Marshel Widianto.
Even though he faced criticism from various parties, Marshel admitted that he received a lot of support from various political parties. Moreover, after being declared to accompany Riza Patria in the regional elections. However, he was reluctant to reveal the identity of the party that supported him.

"Other political parties already exist. Yesterday we finished making a declaration with political parties that are ready to support us. There are several," explained Marshel Widianto.
When asked about the program that would be carried out if elected as Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang, Marshel Widianto was again reluctant to give an answer. He is worried about violating ethics, considering that it is not yet the campaign period.
"Well, that's what I'll answer later in part 2. Because it's still being studied and it's not yet the time. For example, if we discuss it now, we're afraid of violating ethics because it will be said to be during the campaign period," said Marshel Widianto.
