This figure is Denny Wahyudi , a comedian whose name became known to many people when he played in the comedy group Cagur. This man, who was born on August 29 1977, admitted that he had been doing his job as a fried food maker sincerely and enthusiastically for 20 years.

"For more than 20 years I have been trading bakwan and combro. But I am grateful, maybe this is the beginning of success," explained Denny.

He did this because Denny was born from a very simple family. When he was little, Santy's husband said he had experienced difficult times financially. This happened when Denny was in 5th grade and his family decided to move house.

In grade 5-6 of elementary school, I started experiencing economic difficulties. "Because at that time papa was transferred and we also had to move house," said Denny, quoted by brilio.net from his YouTube channel, Denny Cagur TV.

Denny explained that their father's background was a thug, which forced them to move house. Because the father often received unpleasant treatment that made his family uncomfortable.

Since then, Denny's family has begun to live a life of concern and simplicity. He even stopped going to school for several months because his father lacked funds.

"I didn't go to school for several months because my father didn't have any money. I was also looking for a rented house. The house has about 7 plots," he said.

Denny is also enthusiastic about earning extra money so that he and his siblings can continue going to school. Because one way to change your fate is through education.

Denny himself admits that he has been familiar with the world of comedy since he was in elementary school (SD). When he was in middle school to high school, this Bandung-born artist began studying comedy seriously. He learned by watching videos from legendary comedy groups such as Ngelaba to Bagito.

"Well, starting from middle school, high school, I started watching Ngelaba, I started watching Bagito, I started to know about comedy shows and I kept watching them. I practice it at school," he explained.

While studying at Jakarta State University, Denny began to seriously pursue the world of comedy. In 1997, he then created the comedy group Cagur with Narji and Sapto. However, as time went by, the comedy group began to change personnel, as currently known as Denny, Narji and Wendy.

"There was one Sapto who was hanging out with him too. Sapto left to replace Bedu and finally got his first TV show 'Chatting' "Bedu resigned, met Wendy. Wendy was the one who used to help us build property," explained Denny.

Of course, before being as famous as they are now, the comedy group had gone through many obstacles. Cagur is often paid only with boxes of rice and transport money, which is no more than IDR 80 thousand. But they were not disappointed and kept trying until they finally entered the comedy competition program on a private television station.

However, their efforts bore fruit when they first appeared on the Chatting program in 2001. From there, Cagur's name began to skyrocket.

< p>As their schedules became busier, each member also pursued a solo career as a comedian. Denny also received offers from various television programs as a presenter.

Denny was trusted to present a music program which was quite a hit at that time. He even won the award as Favorite Comedian from the 2016 Panasonic Gobel Awards.
