Prior to this release, Phum had cleaned up his Instagram account, apparently marking the beginning of a new era in music and songwriting. In "The Other Side", Phum introduces a new character named Paul Vibhavadi, a human-like sloth who is the main focus of this song.
So meet Paul Vibhavadi, the adorable sloth with human features you may recognize from the cover of Phums second album, The Greng Jai Piece. He is also the logo and main character in The Other Side.
"Basically, he is a mix of a sloth and a human trying to adapt to city life and its pace. But he shouldn't be in the city because he is a sloth," Phum said, quoted by brilio.net from a press release, Wednesday (25/9).

"The Other Side" not only introduces the world of Paul Vibhavadi, but also showcases Phum's new style of music. He combines his guitar playing with elements of early 2000s house music, creating a unique feel.
The song is the first single from PAUL VIBHAVADI VOL. 1, Phum's EP scheduled for release on October 17. Phum hopes "The Other Side" can be a fitting introduction for listeners into the new world he has created.
