Brilio.net - Teenage duo from Jakarta DeVFias, consisting of members Arvia Reihanna and Safia Malia Diansyah, have returned to greet Indonesian music fans with their latest single, Andaikan. This song continues their collaboration with famous Indonesian musician, Kevin Aprilio, and offers a fresh, harmonious and contemporary pop touch.
The song Andaikan was created directly by Kevin Aprilio who acted as producer. This song tells the story of someone who has lost in general. You can lose parents, friends and also close friends. The heartfelt lyrics are inspired by the true story of the vocal duo Arvia and Safia. These two friends since elementary school were separated for several years. Namely when Arvia continued her studies in London, England.
Separated by distance and time for quite a long time, their friendship reconnected after Arvia returned to Indonesia. The two of them then seriously formed the vocal duo DeVFias.
"The song Andaikan talks about loss, and this song is inspired by the true story of the two of us who were separated for several years," said Safia.
The process of creating the song Andaikan took approximately three months. Both DeVFias vocalists admitted that the song that Kevin created specifically for DeVFias felt more challenging than their previous songs. Because, the song Andaikan is not a recycled song like their single entitled Rasa Ini, which is a reinterpretation of the song Vierratale.

"Because if this is a new song, it's not like our previous single which was recycled from Vierratale. "So we really did a workshop from the start to get a feel for the song," said Arvia.
The collaboration between DeVFias and Kevin Aprilio gives an elegant and classy touch to the song Andaikan. The chemistry between Arvia and Safia, who have been friends since elementary school, can be felt in every lyric they sing.
In the video clip, DeVFias describes the story of a person who was left by his best friend to study temporarily in another city. As told by DeVFias, making the video clip for Assumption was also a challenge in itself. With the theme of separation between friends, this video clip was made in a full day. The theme of the video clip was adapted to the title of the song about separation between friends.
"We wanted this video clip to match the song's message about separation and moving on," explained DeVFias.
This teenage girl, who is both in high school, admitted that she was very excited. Through the single Andaikan DeVFias wants to convey to her fans to remain optimistic and not give up when experiencing a separation.
"For those who have experienced separation from friends or loved ones, you must remain enthusiastic and always remember their kindness, and most importantly, you must move on," said Safia.
DeVFias, who debuted with a single entitled "Sahabat" in 2022, hopes to revive the country's music industry. DeVFias has committed to continuing to explore the Indonesian pop music genre. They hope that through this third single they can become a shining light in future pop music.
