Senior artist Titiek Puspa was treated at Medistra Hospital, Jakarta, after experiencing bleeding in the head since March 26, 2025. This incident occurred after Titiek Puspa finished filming a program on a private television station.
Her daughter, Pety Tujnjungsari, explained the complete chronology of her mother's health condition. Pety stated that before the incident, Titiek Puspa was healthy and actively involved in various activities.
Two days before the incident, Titiek Puspa was still attending the "Musica Berbagi" event attended by 300 orphans. In the event, Eyang Titiek looked cheerful and excited.
"We don't understand why this bleeding could have happened, because on March 24, two days earlier, Mrs. Titiek was very healthy and gathered with the orphans. She looked cheerful and had no problems at all," said Pety Tujnjungsari at Medistra Hospital, Jakarta, on Thursday (10/4/2025).
After taking a break on March 25, Titiek Puspa returned to filming on March 26. However, after completing the recording of three episodes of the show, the unexpected happened.
"On March 26, 2025, around 8 pm, after finishing recording on Lapor Pak Trans 7, Mrs. Titiek fainted. Alhamdulillah, she managed to finish three episodes," explained Pety.
Seeing her mother's condition, the television immediately took Titiek Puspa to Medistra Hospital. There, doctors found a brain hemorrhage on the left side of her head, which required serious treatment considering Titiek's age of 87 years.
"I would like to thank the Trans 7 team who quickly brought Mrs. Titiek to Medistra. After being examined, it turned out that there was a brain hemorrhage on the left side of her head. This is a serious condition," added Pety.
After being rushed to the emergency room, Titiek Puspa immediately received emergency treatment. The surgery was performed within the first three days of treatment and went smoothly.
"She was taken to Medistra Emergency Room, and thanks to the medical team who quickly treated my mother. The procedure was carried out and it turned out there was bleeding. The operations on the first, second, and third days were successful," explained Pety.
Pety also revealed that the family and the hospital agreed to maintain privacy and limit visits to the artist. This was done to maintain Titiek Puspa's health.
"We don't understand much of what happened. However, we are committed to maintaining Mrs. Titiek's privacy and ensuring her medical condition is maintained. From the hospital, visits are limited for medical reasons. Currently, we are still accompanying Mrs. Titiek closely and in detail," concluded Pety Tujnjungsari.
