Brilio.net - Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar are back in the mediation process at the Central Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday (14/8). This moment is the third time Kimberly and Edward have been mediated.
However, the mediation process did not go smoothly. Kimberly said that her husband rejected all the lawsuits she filed. Edward also refused the iddah maintenance of Rp5,000.
"The mediation has been completed, it has been signed, and basically no one agrees, no one agrees. Basically, from me filing for divorce , he doesn't agree, he still wants to maintain it, he doesn't agree on child support, he doesn't agree on iddah support, basically they just don't agree," said Kimberly Ryder as quoted by brilio.net from YouTube Intens Investigasi, Wednesday (14/8).

Kimberly also seemed confused by her husband's attitude in rejecting all requests for maintenance submitted, even though the amount was small. With the reason of not being burdensome, the mother of two only asked for maintenance of Rp5,000 which included maintenance for mut'ah, iddah, madhiyah, kiswah and maskan which were each worth Rp1,000. Even so, apparently Kimberly's lawsuit was still rejected by Edward.
"That's the iddah maintenance (Rp. 5,000). Child maintenance is different. That wasn't approved either, everything was flat, everything was a no-no," said Kimberly.
On the other hand, Edward Akbar is still adamant about reconciling and maintaining their marriage. Kimberly, who seems to be firm with her decision, is confused by her husband's attitude who is still trying to fight for their household.
"Why? Why do you still want to fight for it? From me, it's still stuck on the initial lawsuit. So from him, it's just not approved," he said.

With the failure of the mediation, Kimberly's lawyer, Machi Ahmad said that the divorce trial will continue to the main case. It will be Edward's turn to provide an answer to the lawsuit filed by Kimberly.
However, Machi also added that there is no certainty about when the first trial will be held. They are still waiting for news from the court regarding the next steps, including the procedure for summoning a trial through the e-court system.
