After further investigation, it turned out that the song selection was a request from the committee. Ashanty conveyed this directly via her Instagram story. He did reveal that he would appear when Indonesia plays the Philippines.
In his confession, Ashanty said that he received an offer from the committee on June 6. At that time, Ashanty was accompanying Arsya to accompany the national team players when they competed against Iraq. Ashanty immediately agreed to this response by singing according to the match/

Apart from that, the committee also offered a list of songs that he would sing with Anang Hermansyah. It was stated that he was asked to sing 3 songs. 2 are national songs while the only song by Anang has a beat. He also agreed to this request.

At the request of the beat song, their duet song entitled "Rindu Ini" was chosen. This song is included in the album that Ashanty and her husband worked on entitled "My Soulmate" and was released in 2011.
