The 27-year-old artist's decision to be childfree apparently stems from her desire to focus on self-development. The young star feels that there are still many aspects of her life that need to be improved and achieved.
As time went by, Ariel became more aware of how many personal dreams she wanted to fulfill. This made her rethink the desire to have children that had crossed her mind.

"I used to want to have lots of children, but it turns out that the more I get to know myself, it turns out that there are lots of things I want to improve, lots I want to achieve," said Nicholas Saputra's co-star.
Ariel said that she still wants to do things she loves alone, such as traveling. By doing these things, Ariel feels that she is still changing and developing, which makes her think that it is not an ideal idea to have children.
"Oh, it turns out that I like doing simple things like traveling alone, I have made it an annual thing. So once a year I go to a place that I have never been to alone.
