Brilio.net - The household of Reza Arap and Wendy Walters must end at the end of 2022. After officially divorcing, various speculations regarding the cause of the breakdown of their marriage were widely discussed by netizens on social media.
Recently, Wendy Walters expressed her frustration with comments attacking her personal life. She was furious with accusations that she chose not to have children while married to Reza Arap.
It all started in her TikTok comment section. A netizen made a dig at Wendy Walters.
" What's so good about being child-free? Life would be so empty without children ," netizens quipped.
Through an Instagram Story uploaded on Saturday (3/9), Wendy Walters corrected a narrative that was considered incorrect. She emphasized that she never said she wanted to live without children or choose to be childfree.
" Who said I want to be childfree? If a man says 'but I have children and I don't want to take care of them because I don't want to spend less time playing games, there's a babysitter' do you think I would? " replied Wendy in response to a netizen's sarcasm in the comments column of her TikTok.

Wendy is fed up with the opinions that corner her regarding her desire to have children. She emphasized that since she was little, she has aspired to have a complete family, something she did not experience as a child.
" I come from a broken home, I didn't have a father figure since I was little. My dream is to have a family, I want to have children ," he said.
The reason behind Wendy Walters' decision not to be ready to have childrenAt the beginning of their marriage, Wendy already wanted children. However, her ex-husband was not ready because he was afraid that children would be a burden and reduce his gaming time.
" The first year of marriage, I wanted a child. At that time, my ex-husband wasn't ready because he was afraid that if he had a child, he wouldn't be able to help take care of it, reduce his gaming hours, and he wanted me to take care of it and have a babysitter help him ," explained Wendy.
For Wendy, having a child is not just an instant decision, but also a matter of mental readiness and responsibility. She does not want her child to experience the same thing she experienced as a child, growing up without a father figure present in his life.
" I don't want my children to feel what I felt before. I can choose my life partner, but MY CHILDREN CAN'T CHOOSE THEIR FATHER ," he said firmly.

According to him, having children is not just about giving birth, but also about ensuring they grow up in a healthy and caring environment. He regrets that many couples maintain unhealthy marriages just for the sake of their children, even though it can actually have a negative impact on the child's mentality.
" How many cases of marriages already have children and the husband is still cheating? Domestic violence? Do you think about the mental health of the children? " he quipped about the reality of problematic marriages.
Wendy also mentioned how many children actually wish their parents would separate because they constantly witness arguments at home. For her, the decision to delay having children at that time was a form of mature consideration, not because of a desire to be childfree.
" How many children hope that their parents will divorce, because their mental health is also affected. Home, which should be the most comfortable and safe place, is no longer a home for them because they see their parents fighting every day ," he concluded.
