Brilio.net - A touching moment occurred when Paula Verhoeven tried to meet her two children, Kiano and Kenzo. Instead of getting a warm hug, Paula had to swallow the bitter reality when her children rejected her presence.
The video uploaded by Paula on her personal Instagram account also received widespread attention from netizens. In the recording, Kenzo was seen crying in fear when his mother came to visit.
The little boy innocently expressed his concern that Paula's presence would upset his father, Baim Wong. The heartbreaking reaction immediately moved many people and made them question the emotional state of their children amidst the ongoing divorce process.
"Mom, don't come here, Dad will be angry. Dad will be angry with Mom," said Kenzo, rejecting Paula, quoted from Instagram @paula_verhoeven on Saturday (8/3).

The moment illustrates how afraid Paula's children felt after living apart for more than six months. Paula, who heard her son's words, could only try to calm him down and convince him that Baim Wong would not do that.
"Papa is kind little sister, Papa would never be angry with Mama, dear," said Paula.
However, even though they had been convinced, Kenzo and Kiano still refused to approach and chose to stay away from their mother. Paula also admitted to being confused by the change in her sons' attitudes. She felt her heart broken seeing her children no longer acting the way they did before they were separated.
In the video, Kenzo was also recorded trying to avoid Paula. At that time, Paula was about to give food souvenirs to her eldest son.
"At this point, my mother's heart felt like giving up, not because I didn't fight for you, but my mother's heart was sad and broken seeing you afraid every time you were near me, feeling alienated from the children I conceived and gave birth to," wrote Paula Verhoeven.

Paula's sadness is increasingly felt in the upload. She admitted that she has not been able to sleep well since being separated from her two children. The longing and desire to be together again continue to haunt her.
"Mama wants to tell you, whatever the result of the judge's decision in court next week. Allah will always guard your hearts and your love for Mama," added Paula Verhoeven.
It is known that Baim Wong filed for divorce against Paula Verhoeven at the South Jakarta Religious Court on October 7, 2024. The lawsuit was registered with case number 3477/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS. Their divorce was in the spotlight, especially with the accusation of infidelity from the wife which was submitted in the lawsuit.
In terms of religion, the two have actually separated after the declaration of divorce. This was confirmed by Baim Wong's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid. Since then, Paula and Baim have lived separately, with Baim bringing the children to live with him in the office, while Paula remains in their old house.

The divorce process for both of them is still ongoing at the South Jakarta Religious Court. The incident that showed Kiano and Kenzo rejecting Paula has added to the drama in their household story which is now on the brink.
Many netizens regretted this condition, especially its impact on their very young children. Criticism was also directed at Baim Wong who was considered to have a big influence in changing Kiano and Kenzo's attitudes towards their mother.
