Brilio.net - Aging is a natural process experienced by every living creature. Unlike youth which is characterized by optimal physical condition and high metabolism, aging brings about a decline in the function of body organs over time. As a result, in addition to decreased energy, aging also greatly affects a person's skin condition.
Some signs of aging that often appear on the skin include wrinkles and dark spots. Wrinkles occur due to decreased production of collagen and elastin as we age. Collagen and elastin are proteins that provide strength and elasticity to the skin. When their production decreases, the skin loses its moisture and elasticity, so fine lines and wrinkles begin to form. Dark spots, or hyperpigmentation, appear due to increased production of melanin that accumulates, resulting in dark patches on the skin.
One of the main factors that accelerates skin aging is sun exposure. Every day, the skin is exposed to pollution and UV rays that damage the structure of collagen and elastin, and interfere with melanin production. As a result, signs of aging often appear faster in some people.
Although aging is inevitable, there are steps you can take to delay and disguise its signs. One thing you can do is to use rice together with almond oil, as reported by briliobeauty.net from @ariba_pervaiz on Instagram on Sunday (12/29).

Rice, as a staple food, is rich in vitamin B complex, minerals such as magnesium and zinc, and antioxidants such as vitamin E. Vitamin B complex plays an important role in repairing and maintaining healthy skin, while vitamin E and other minerals act as antioxidants that fight free radicals and slow down the skin aging process.
Rice also contains ferulic acid, which protects the skin from sun damage. Ferulic acid has anti-inflammatory and photoprotective properties, which can help reduce the risk of skin damage from UV exposure.

Almond oil, extracted from almonds, also has great benefits for the skin. It is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic acid, as well as vitamin E and phytosterols. Monounsaturated fatty acids help keep the skin moisturized and improve its elasticity, which can reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
The vitamin E in almond oil acts as a powerful antioxidant that fights free radical damage and prevents premature aging. The phytosterols in almond oil also help reduce inflammation in the skin and can fade dark spots caused by hyperpigmentation.
Well, you can turn these two ingredients above into an effective moisturizer in the following way.
Tools and materials:
- 4 tablespoons of rice, washed clean
