Brilio.net - As time goes by, the aging process is something that is natural for every individual. One of the most visible changes is in the skin, where the elasticity, texture, and function of the skin begin to decline. The most common sign of this process is the appearance of wrinkles on the face.
Wrinkles are folds or fine lines that form on the surface of the skin due to a combination of internal and external factors. In general, wrinkles are divided into two types, namely dynamic wrinkles and static wrinkles.
Dynamic wrinkles are usually caused by repeated facial muscle movements, such as smiling, frowning, or squinting. These habits gradually create lines that become more visible, especially in the forehead, corners of the eyes, and cheeks.
Unlike dynamic wrinkles, static wrinkles are more related to the decrease in collagen and elastin production in the skin. As we age, our skin loses its natural ability to retain moisture and elasticity. Exposure to UV rays from the sun and pollution also accelerates this process of damage, resulting in the appearance of permanent fine lines and wrinkles on the face.
Although aging is a natural process, there are ways to minimize its effects, including utilizing natural ingredients. One effective combination that can be tried is a mixture of red cabbage and aloe vera, as demonstrated by Instagram user @ravleenbaggaofficial, reported by briliobeauty.net on Saturday (12/28).

Red cabbage, or purple cabbage, is known to have a high anthocyanin content. This compound plays an important role in protecting the skin from damage caused by exposure to UV rays from the sun and maintaining skin elasticity. In addition, red cabbage is rich in vitamin C which helps increase collagen production, so that the skin remains firm and fine lines are reduced.
Not only that, red cabbage also contains vitamin K, which is effective in reducing the appearance of dark spots that often appear as we age. This combination of benefits makes red cabbage a good natural choice for maintaining healthy skin.

Aloe vera gel, or aloe vera, has long been used for skin care. The vitamins A, C, and E it contains work as antioxidants that fight free radicals that cause premature aging. Aloe vera also contains polysaccharides, compounds that can stimulate collagen production.
This collagen is important for maintaining skin elasticity while reducing fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, enzymes and amino acids in aloe vera help the skin cell regeneration process, so that the skin looks healthier and fresher.
