One common factor that can cause the above problems is constant exposure to pollution and the sun's UV rays. This is because ultraviolet (UV) light has a wave of light called UVB which can cause increased melanin production and a burning sensation on the skin. Apart from that, rice flour is also rich in amino acids, B vitamins, antioxidants which can provide nutrition to brighten skin tone overall. Plus, the phytic acid component in it is also effective in helping reduce melanin production and smooth dark layers of skin.

Tomatoes are a fruit that is rich in lycopene and vitamins. Summarized from the Purplle page, lycopene has strong antioxidant properties that can fight skin-damaging free radicals, help protect the skin from sun damage, and reduce melanin production which causes black spots. Apart from that, tomatoes also contain vitamins A and C which help stimulate collagen production while regenerating the skin, making the face brighter in the process.

You can use the two ingredients above in the following way.

Tools and materials:

1. 1 fresh tomato
2. 1 tablespoon rice flour
3. Blender and small container

1. Peel and clean 1 fresh tomato, then blend until smooth.
2. Mix a little of the tomato extract with 1 tablespoon of rice flour.
3. Stir all the ingredients until they are mixed well and become thick.
4. Apply this mixture thickly as a mask on a clean face for 15 minutes.
5. After that, massage and rinse your face with clean water, then dry it and use moisturizer afterwards.
6. Do this routine at least 2 times a week to get maximum results.
