Brilio.net - Dry skin is a common skin type that many people have. As the name suggests, dry skin conditions arise due to the loss of the skin's ability to retain natural moisture in the skin. This then causes people with dry skin to often feel uncomfortable due to the irritating effects that often appear on the skin.

Well, people with dry skin will usually experience a lot of problems when applying makeup. One of them is the tendency of dry skin to make makeup cakey (revealing texture) and cracking. This is of course far from the goal of using makeup to get a flawless and smooth face.

This problem with dry skin is actually caused by a lack of natural moisture in the skin. This condition makes it difficult for makeup to stick well, so it tends to clump in dry areas of the skin. Over time, the makeup will also become less integrated with the skin, which triggers the cracking effect. As a result, your facial appearance will become worse because of it.

However, there's no need to worry. The thing is, there is a simple trick to solve this problem by using just 1 simple product. This was shared by @froartistry on Instagram as reported by briliobeauty.net on Monday (5/2).

According to this woman, a simple but effective trick to overcome this is to apply a little petroleum jelly before using foundation. The principle is similar to using facial oil before applying makeup. Petroleum jelly helps intensively moisturize the skin, creating a thin layer that maintains moisture on dry skin, making it easier for makeup to stick perfectly. As a result, the effects of dry skin can be minimized and makeup will look smoother and more natural.

So, to take advantage of it, you can follow these simple steps.
