Brilio.net - Lip balm is a lip care product designed to moisturize, protect, and improve the condition of the skin of the lips. Usually in the form of a stick, tube, or small pot.
Not only that, lip balm also contains emollient ingredients such as shea butter, coconut oil, or beeswax which can maintain moisture and prevent dry and chapped lips.
Additionally, lip balms are often equipped with SPF to protect lips from sun damage, and contain additional ingredients such as vitamin E to provide antioxidant effects and extra care.
In line with that, many skincare brands have created lip balms with SPF content and other claims. Like lip balms with SPF content that have gone viral lately. Two of them are Sebamed Lip Defense Stick SPF 30 and Buttered Unscented Lip Balm SPF 15.
Both products are claimed to have a light formula and can keep skin soft, and protected from sunlight all day long. To prove this claim, a TikToker with the account name @yoselyn.eunike, conducted a battle review of both. Which of the two products is suitable for outdoor use?

Moving on to the texture, according to the account owner, Buttered has a melting texture so it is easy to apply. Meanwhile, Sebamed lip balm has a denser texture. Even so, both have a refreshing fruity aroma.
"Well, in terms of function, they are both good for treating chapped lips, moisturizing lips. The only difference is the SPF level. So, the Buttered one is SPF 15, and the Sebamed one is SPF 30. So I prefer using Buttered lip balm indoors, and using Sebamed lip balm for outdoor activities," continued the account owner.
