Brilio.net/en - The town of Yeruham in Israel territory, situated in the heart of the desolate Negev desert, has turned into a sort of landscape of the strage planet we have never seen before.
Colorful mountains of monochromatic glass bottles reach over 15 meters toward the sky. The responsible factory owned by the Phoenicia Glass Works Ltd recycles old glass bottles and makes new ones from sands hauled from the surrounding area, which happens to produce tens of thousands devective bottles during the production.
The imperfect yield of the productions are ground up and gathered into hills of bottles with the rest of the rejected products, to be melted down later.
A Pulitzer Prize-winning Israeli photographerOded Bality caught the splendor of these mountains of the bottle shales, captured these otherworldly landscape of of green, blue and brown glass fragments which stretch the length of several soccer fields.
