Scorned that he couldn't go to college because he was poor, the moment this man showed his life's journey had an emotional ending

The definition of effort never betrays the results. Muhammad Rizki Yusrial

Brilio.net - Many poor people are often ridiculed because they are considered incapable of studying. This stigma arises from the narrow view that higher education can only be achieved with large funds. However, enthusiasm and determination to learn should know no economic boundaries.

That's what happened to a man named Muhammad Abdul Machfud in this TikTok video. He admitted that in 2013 many people underestimated him. However, he continued to try to pursue this dream. The story can be seen in the TikTok video posted by the @mampedd account.

Economically, this man cannot be said to be well-off. The reason is, the mother only works as a rice seller. While his father works as a driver. To pay for his studies, his parents had to work hard.

He was finally able to study at one of the Surabaya State campuses and chose to major in communication sciences. Not wanting to be an ordinary student, this man routinely made several achievements. Until finally he was declared graduated and worked in the media.

However, he feels that his current education is not enough. He is determined to continue to Masters level. Considering that his family's finances did not allow it, this man tried other methods, one of which was pursuing a scholarship.

Fortunately, the results did not betray his prayers and efforts. No longer in the country, the man received his master's scholarship in Thailand in 2021. A happy smile radiated before leaving for the Land of the White Elephant. His parents also seemed happy to see that their child would pursue his dreams in another country.

"2021 Going to Thailand leaving family and friends," he wrote in the caption. Reported by brilio.net on Sunday (14/7).

He said that while in Thailand, he learned a lot of new things. This man also met friends from various countries. An extraordinary experience that you will take with you when you return to Indonesia.

It didn't take long, only two years later he was declared graduated and entitled to a Master's degree. At that time, he conducted research on viewer behavior when watching TV.

After that, his struggle always bore sweet fruit. He was immediately appointed as a young lecturer when he returned to Indonesia. Machfud was asked to teach in the Media Production study program on campus when he was undergraduate.

In this way, he used the journey he shared as evidence to silence those who underestimated him in the past. For him, poor people can also study if it is accompanied by business. For him nothing is impossible.

"I proved that poor people can go to college if they try," he wrote.

"Nothing is impossible," he continued.
