"If we look back to few months ago, some survey institutes said that Ahok-Djarot would not reach 20 percent, some said we wouldn't even get 10 percent. Now we are number one. But we don't know if we will reach 50 percent plus one."

Ahok also showed his optimism that he would win.

"We believe this fight is not over. A lot of people believe we can do it, they want only one round (of election). Anything can happen, but we should be grateful especially after some predictions said that no one would vote (for us). But it shows now that we are still trusted," he said.

Djarot also weighed in.

"The fight is not over. To all Basuki-Ahok's supporters, please keep your spirit alive. Our fight needs never-ending determination," he said.
