Located in East Java, the districts natural beauty has rivals its more popular neighbor, Bali, as it retained much of the pristine nature that is increasingly rare on Bali due to rapid commercialization.

But perhaps Balurans leading draw is its Javanese Savanna, which resembles the much bigger counterpart in Africa.

Sukamade beach is the place to be for a firsthand look at marine life. Its primary draw are the sea turtles that come here to lay their eggs, or make their way to the sea along with their young soon after theyre hatched.
