A sad news came from Indonesian football after Ricko Andrean, a bobotoh or supporter of Bandung-based football team, Persib, passed away at Santo Yusuf Hospital, Bandung, Thursday afternoon.
Ricko passed away due to serious injuries after an unprovoked attack by fellow Persib supporters who might have mistaken him for a member of Jakmania, a supporter of Persija after the match between Persib and Persija on Saturday.
Ricko was beaten in the northern tribune of Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium as he was about to help an intimidated member of Jakmania.
His death was reported by the Viking (Persib's supporter) Leader, Yana Umar via his Instagram account.

According toIndonesian Football Watch, Save Our Soccer (SOS), Ricko was the 56th victim of violence in Indonesian football since Suhermansyah, a Persebaya supporter, who died in January 28, 1995 after getting trampled during the match between PSIM Yogyakarta and Persebaya.
Ricko himself was the fifth bobotoh to die since 2012.
"This can't be underestimated or claimed as an accident in football. This must be taken seriously by the parties concerned," said SOS Coordinator Akmal Marhali to Kompas yesterday.
May you rest in peace, Ricko.
